Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Jerome Simpson entered a not guilty plea on Monday to charges of marijuana trafficking, according to the Associated Press.

In September, police tracked a package that contained 2 1/2 pounds of marijuana to Simpson's northern Kentucky home. Police then searched the home and found six more pounds of marijuana in addition to pipes and scales.

Simpson caught 53 passes for the Bengals in 2011 for 758 yards and four touchdowns. He is scheduled to be a free agent in March.

This'll be harder than doing a flip over some linebacker.

He's in John Jolly territory unless he can blame it on Sam Hurd.
