Cornerback, safety joining team Aaron Wilson
The Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to a two-year contract with cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones, according to NFL.com and the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Per the reports, Jones will receive veteran minimum salaries as well as incentive clauses that can boost the value of the deal.
Jones, who tried out for the Bengals earlier this week, has a long history of off-field problems during his previous stints with the Dallas Cowboys and the Tennesee Titans.
Per the Enquirer, Jones will arrive in Cincinnati on Monday and will begin practicing with the team on Tuesday.
Jones has only played nine games since 2006.
He was out of football last season after being cut by the Cowboys.
He hasn't been in trouble recently and Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer has expressed confidence that Jones has changed his ways.
A former Titans first-round draft pick from West Virginia, Jones was suspended for an entire season. He was arrested six times while playing for the Titans and had at least a dozen incidents where the police were called.
With the Cowboys in 2008, he did intercept any passes while averaging 4.5 yards per punt return.
That season was also marred by a six-game suspension following a fight with his bodyguard in a Dallas hotel bathroom.
Meanwhile, the Bengals agreed to a one-year deal with veteran safety Gibril Wilson.
Wilson's agent, Alvin Keels, announced the deal on his Twitter account.
Wilson was cut by the Miami Dolphins after a disapointing season.
He was signed to a five-year, $27.5 million contract last year. Although he registered 91 tackles, he didn't make a lot of plays on the ball.
With the Oakland Raiders for one season in 2008, he recorded 129 tackles and two interceptions before being released and signed by the Dolphins.
Wilson has also started in the past for the New York Giants.
