The Cincinnati Bengals claimed former Baltimore Ravens sixth-round running back Cedric Peerman off waivers from the Detroit Lions, the team announced today.
Peerman is a 5-foot-9, 210-pound former Virginia standout who was cut by Detroit on Monday.
In the preseason for the Ravens last year, he had 14 rushes for 40 yards (2.9 avg.) with a touchdown and four receptions for 42 yards (10.5).
He was claimed by the Cleveland Browns, released and then placed on the practice squad before a stint on the Lions' practice squad and active roster.
