Bengals complete deal of Rivers to Giants

The rumored and reported potential trade of Keith Rivers from the Cincinnati Bengals to the New York Giants has become reality.

The linebacker has been dealt to the reigning Super Bowl champion Giants in exchange for a fifth-round pick, says Jason La Canfora of NFL Network.

Rivers, who turns just 26 next month, is a former first-round pick by Cincinnati in 2008, and is a good gamble for the Giants at a low cost.

Rivers missed all of 2011 with a wrist injury and also suffered a broken jaw in his rookie season on a hit from Pittsburgh's Hines Ward.
