A year ago, the Cincinnati Bengals put in an offer sheet on Minnesota Vikings fullback Fahu Tahi.
The Vikings decided to match the offer, retaining the restricted free agent.
One year later and still in need of a fullback, the Bengals are contemplating another offer sheet for Tahi, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Because Tahi got the low tender and was undrafted, the Bengals could get him, if the Vikings opt not to match, without having to lose a draft pick as compensation.
Tahi played for the Bengals in 2006 as an undrafted free agent, but joined the Vikings as an injury replacement for Tony Richardson and emerged as the starter in Minnesota two years ago.
Now, the Bengals want him back.
