The Cincinnati Bengals have released cornerback Mike Mickens.
A former Dallas Cowboys seventh-round draft pick last year, the former University of Cincinnati player spent five regular-season games and one postseason game on the Bengals’ practice squad last season.
The team had signed him to its offseason roster on Jan. 15.
Mickens also spent time on the Cowboys’ practice squad and on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ 53-player roster prior to signing to the Bengals’ practice squad.
