The Cincinnati Bengals have extended the contract of defensive end Carlos Dunlap with a reported $40 million deal over six years, per NFL.com.
Dunlap's deal comes as the Bengals were unable to get an extension done with franchised end Michael Johnson.
Dunlap, who has started only two games, nonetheless has 20 sacks over the past three seasons.
