Bengals release Jamaal Anderson

The Cincinnati Bengals announced Wednesday they have released veteran defensive end Jamaal Anderson.

Anderson, the eighth overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft, signed a two-year deal with Cincinnati last, year, but a quadriceps injury limited him to just two games.

Anderson has also spent some time with the Indianapolis Colts in his career.
