Bengals re-sign Brandon Tate

The Cincinnati Bengals have re-signed free agent receiver and kick returning Brandon Tate, the club announced.

Tate, a former second-round pick of the New England Patriots, caught 13 passes for 211 yards and a touchdown last season. But his brightest moments were on special teams where he averaged 24.8 yards per kickoff return and 8.9 yards per punt return.

Tate has have two kickoff returns for touchdowns and one punt return for a score in his NFL career.
