From StarTribune.com:
Vikings wide receiver Bernard Berrian finds himself in a difficult situation.
He wants to get back on the field in order to start working with quarterback Brett Favre, but what Berrian doesn’t want to do is aggravate a hamstring injury that has kept him out of action since the Vikings’ preseason opener on Aug. 14 at Indianapolis.
Berrian said Sunday that he has never had a hamstring injury before in his career, meaning a timetable for his return is going to have to be a play-it-by ear situation. Berrian must tell the Vikings medical staff how his hamstring really feels and the doctors and athletic trainer Eric Sugarman must then make a judgment on where he’s at in the recovery process.
