Veteran cornerback aiming for full return in 2010 Brad Biggs
Green Bay Packers cornerback Al Harris underwent reconstructive surgery on the torn ACL in his left knee on Monday, and is expected to make a full recovery for next season.
Harris, who turns 35 next week, has vowed to make a complete return in time for the start of next season. He was injured at Lambeau Field in the Packers’ Nov. 22 victory over the San Francisco 49ers. He’s been a remarkably durable performer throughout his career. Harris missed four games in 2008 with a spleen injury, but prior to that he had played in all 16 games for 10 consecutive seasons.
Packers team physician Patrick McKenzie told Harris’ agent Jack Bechta that he is “very pleased with the procedure, health and results."
“(McKenzie) is very optimistic that Al will have a complete recovery and be back on the field for the 2010 season,” Bechta said.
In full disclosure, Bechta is one of the principal founders of the National Football Post.

I'm glad for Al that all went well.
Was there any other damage in the knee beside the ACL?
Get better Al.
