The Atlanta Falcons went ahead and re-signed running back Aaron Stecker tonight after he cleared waivers, a move that was first reported by NFL.com.

The Falcons released wide receiver Troy Bergeron, the player they promoted from the practice squad on Saturday when they cut Stecker.

Stecker is insurance with running back Michael Turner nursing a sprained right ankle. Jerious Norwood has missed the last four games with a hip flexor.

I agree with Matt N. except perhaps I'd like to see Mr. Westbrook put this all behind him so that he may enjoy the rest of his days watching the Eagles win with his kids.
