Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Anquan Boldin could be a game-time decision for Sunday’s game at the New York Giants.
It will mark a return to Giants Stadium for Boldin, the site of the brutal hit he took from new York Jets safety Eric Smith last season, the one that led to facial surgery for Boldin. This time, the wide receiver has a sprained ankle, an injury that knocked him out of parts of last Sunday’s victory at Seattle. Boldin was held out of practice on Wednesday.
“It's up in the air right now,” Boldin said. “It probably will be a game-time decision.’’
If Boldin is not available, Steve Breaston would start in his place.

Gaither will head to injured reserve where middle linebacker Stewart Bradley landed before the season began. Witherspoon is expected to start Monday night at Washington. Jeremiah Trotter could see some time at the position too.
