Takes the place of CB McCauley Brad Biggs
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced that they have signed cornerback Mike Mickens off the practice squad of the Dallas Cowboys. Mickens was a seventh-round draft pick by Dallas after setting a school record with 14 interceptions during his college career at Cincinnati.
Mickens might have been a higher draft pick had he not suffered a knee injury late in his senior season.
To make room for him, the Bucs released cornerback Marcus McCauley, who was signed late last month.

Sims is a class act, it was good to see him playing pretty well, for the portion of the game I could view.

Grabbing Miles Austin and the big TV set might be considered "Plundering".
Grabbing a guy off the PSquad is both legal and good business. Mickens is a back of the roster guy, and it's hardly Somali Piracy.
