The Atlanta Falcons made a move to add some help in the secondary today, signing safety Charlie Peprah.

The Falcons worked out a host of defensive backs last Friday, and Peprah was included in the bunch. He spent the last three seasons with the Green Bay Packers and was waived/injured by them in September with a knee injury. Peprah was primarily a special teams player for the Packers, and he played occasionally in reserve on defense.

He takes the place of safety Jamaal Fudge, who was placed on season-ending injured reserve with a knee injury. He was signed just two weeks ago.

going to the ground, his head struck the knee of Redskins linebacker London Fletcher, knocking him out briefly. Westbrook has been injury prone at different times in his career, but it was his first concussion.
