The Atlanta Falcons made a move to add some help in the secondary today, signing safety Charlie Peprah.
The Falcons worked out a host of defensive backs last Friday, and Peprah was included in the bunch. He spent the last three seasons with the Green Bay Packers and was waived/injured by them in September with a knee injury. Peprah was primarily a special teams player for the Packers, and he played occasionally in reserve on defense.
He takes the place of safety Jamaal Fudge, who was placed on season-ending injured reserve with a knee injury. He was signed just two weeks ago.
