WR Bergeron promoted from practice squad Brad Biggs
The Atlanta Falcons have signed former Arena League star Troy Bergeron from their practice squad to the active roster.
The wide receiver takes the place of running back Aaron Stecker, who was released.
Atlanta could be looking for help Sunday at Carolina. Brian Finneran and Roddy White are both questionable for the game with knee injuries.
Bergeron was the AFL rookie of the year in 2005 with the Georgia Force, and earned all-league honors in 2007. He has also spent time in the past with the Buffalo Bills.
Stecker was signed two weeks ago when the Falcons were thin at running back. He played in two games and carried the ball twice.
