Detroit facing 2nd TV blackout of season Brad Biggs
Lions fans in Detroit who don’t want to head to Ford Field on Sunday are going to have to head 75 miles out of town if they want to see a team that might be able to match the ineptitude of 0-16.
According to the Detroit News, 10,000 tickets remain for the Lions’ meeting with the St. Louis Rams (0-7). The team has until 1 p.m. today to sell the remaining tickets and avoid a local television blackout, or convince the NFL it is close enough to peddle the remaining tickets by 1 p.m. Friday with a 24-hour extension.
The Lions have sold out two of their three home games this season after fans stayed away in masses near the end of last season. The only home game the Lions sold out in their final six last year was Thanksgiving Day.

Finally some good news for the people of Detroit.
Detroit should be honored to be the favorite in this game. 3 or 4 wins this year should merit the Coach of the Year award. That would be an improvement of infinite percent!
The veteran St. Clair spent the previous four years with the Bears and played left tackle last season, allowing a team-high 10 sacks according to Stats Inc. In previous seasons he was a backup who often went against Ogunleye in practice.

In terms Detroit can understand, buying tickets to this game is like paying Cash to see Clunkers!
