The comments from Albert Haynesworth during a radio appearance Thursday night that drew the most attention were the ones about him having weekly football discussions with embattled Washington Redskins owner Daniel Snyder.

The ones that caught the attention of the Atlanta Falcons were his remarks regarding offensive linemen Tyson Clabo and Harvey Dahl and their affinity for finishing plays, so to speak.

“Yeah, I don't have the patience for stuff like that,” Haynesworth said in his visit on Sirius NFL Radio. “I guess this is where the second-rated dirtiest player can come out. When it gets to things like that, if you don't really want to play football and you just want to go out and hurt somebody, then come on, I'll be your guy. I can play with them.”

Haynesworth was referring to a recent Sports Illustrated poll among players that ranked him as the second dirtiest player in the league, probably a a result of his face stomping on Andre Gurode from 2006 as much as anything else.

“For one, I'm not stomping on anybody's head anymore,” Haynesworth said. “That's a big difference. I play the game and I play it hard. I don't try to go out there and hurt anybody. I just play hard.”

Clabo and Dahl said they’re all set for the matchup Sunday in the Georgia Dome.

“We are going to play physical,” Dahl said. “We are going to play like we always do. Play to the whistle.”
