The last thing the Green Bay Packers need after a stunning loss to the previously winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers is some injury news.
But Greg Bedard of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel came up with a doozy regarding that woozy feeling that comes with concussions. Specifically, Aaron Kampman played the majority of the game with a concussion after Buccaneers tight end John Gilmore drilled him in the jaw with his helmet on a Cadillac Williams run, the fourth play of the game. (Hey, at least Kampman wasn’t ejected from the fourth play of the game like Chicago’s Tommie Harris was).
“Just a little sore,” Kampman said, according to Bedard. “We’re just kind of taking it as it comes.’’
Packers coach Mike McCarthy said Kampman is “up in the air’’ for Sunday’s game vs. Dallas.
