Jocklife.com details how embattled Chiefs RB makes a boy's day Brad Biggs
Larry Johnson may be down and out in Kansas City tonight after the Chiefs announced that he has been suspended two weeks for conduct detrimental to the team after he allegedly used gay slurs twice earlier this week. It remains to be seen if Johnson will return to the field with the Chiefs after his suspension ends. He’ll miss just one game (but two game checks) because the Chiefs are on a bye this week.
But the veteran running back, who issued a public apology on Tuesday, has found some support during his crisis. Jocklife.com ran an anonymous letter from a New Jersey woman whose six-year-old son was in the front row for Sunday’s game vs. San Diego at Arrowhead Stadium, the 37-7 Chiefs’ loss that set off Johnson on a tirade against coach Todd Haley after the game.
“I had tears in my eyes when my son called me from Arrowhead Stadium to tell me that Larry Johnson not only came over to his seat and signed his replica helmet but he also stood in front of him, took his gloves off and handed them to him,’’ the letter states.
The author acknowledged that portrayals of Johnson over the last two years by mainstream media did not cast him in a positive light as a role model, but she wanted the message passed on to Johnson: “If it is at all possible I would greatly appreciate this message getting passed on to Larry Johnson so he can know how deeply appreciative we are for what he did. He has made the difference in my son’s life and I thank him.”
That’s a generous act that can make an impression on a young boy for a lifetime. Johnson may want to consider some type of charitable endeavor in the very near future as a means to rehabilitate his image before a larger audience.
Jocklife.com was started last year by veteran agent Lamont Smith. Johnson is represented by Peter Schaffer, Smith’s partner.

Seriously - this isn't news, this is a press release put out by a PR firm.
"Garbage" is right.
The homosexual movement just screams the loudest and so any chance they get to tear someone up for a comment about homosexuals they do it just to make anybody scared in the future of opposing them. They rally in ridiculous ways. Maybe we should have a petition in support of Larry Johnson. I would sign it.
does any body remember about freedom of speech anymore?
