The Detroit Lions have signed wide receiver John Standeford to a one-year contract, according to the Twitter account of his agent Drew Rosenhaus.
Standeford, 6-4, 200 pounds, played in nine games for the Lions last season and caught 15 passes for 244 yards. The Purdue product has previously spent time with the Indianapolis Colts.
The Lions made Standeford one of their final roster cuts on Sept. 5. The team has yet to announce the roster move.
