Now, it seems, we might be able to define exactly what Detroit Lions coach Jim Schwartz meant when he said Calvin Johnson’s knee injury wasn’t serious following the Pittsburgh game back on Oct. 11.

That means it’s a three-week injury, as it appears the wide receiver will suit up Sunday at Seattle for the Lions after missing the last two games and a bye week. Johnson practiced for the second straight day today.

Schwartz called Johnson and running back Kevin Smith, who has a shoulder injury, game-time decisions. Smith returned to practice today after missing the workout on Wednesday.

Obviously, the Lions are a more dynamic offense with Johnson on the field

The official injury report will be released this afternoon. Arizona has an injured receiver of its own in Anquan Boldin, who is also battling a sprained ankle.
