Wynn's knee will be re-evaluated Wednesday Brad Biggs
The Green Bay Packers brought in Ahman Green for a look on Monday but a broadcast report tonight that the veteran running back has returned to the team he once starred for is not accurate.
There is a chance Green could sign with the Packers on Wednesday, a source said, but nothing is in place yet and Greg Bedard of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that Green’s agent Joby Branion also denied there being an agreement.
“Nothing's happened,” Branion told Bedard via email. “Don't know if anything will happen (Wednesday), either.”
Green Bay also kicked the tires on Dominic Rhodes, and the team is concerned about the health of backup running back DeShawn Wynn, who has missed the last two games with a knee injury. According to Bedard, Wynn will be re-evaluated on Wednesday. Obviously, the team will have a sudden need if he is placed on injured reserve.

maybe with the time off ahman green had he can comeback and play at a level like Marcus Allen did for the Chiefs.
Or perhaps the pack should look to re-signing marco rivera, frank winters, and ed west.
I hear Chuck Cecil will likely be available soon and they could use some help at safety, I think he's worth a look.
It all seems to start with Green twittering his signing.
Damn you Twitter!
GB had a great RB in pre-season, then they released him. Don't care if he was the wrong size or he didn't lack "explosiveness" he outplayed every other RB on the team.
Would really be nice to have him and his KR/PR abilities right now...... oh well... :p

You know what? Its B.S. that a station breaks news and there is no story. I believe it was a station out of Milwaukee and id assume its "the big" one. Regardless, STOP BREAKING NEWS FROM "ANNOYNMOUS" SOURCES. You people cant wait to get a credible source or what? Its as bad as ESPN. Shame on you whatever Milwaukee station that was, and ill give some credit to the GB stations that did NOT runaway with it. They discussed it, but kept it as a "devolping" story and not a live, local latebreaking. Milwaukee, Stay classy
