Biggs: Packers will unveil alternate uniform

I know Green Bay has an alternate jersey that is all yellow with green numbers that they sell on nfl shop, but i have never seem them wear it. I don't mind them coming out with some updated uniforms as long as they stick with the classic most of the time. and of course as long as they look good.

This will in all likelihood be the rumored throwback uniform that is to look like a 1929 Johnny "Blood" McNalley uniform

Navy Blue jersey with a gold circle on the front with a blue numeral inside. The helmet color is brown (to look like the color of the leather one) Tan (canvas color) pants

If it isn't that, then I don't know what it could be

Its on the Press Gazette website. Mark Murphy says that it will be from the first decade of the team (1919-1929) So it is in all probability a dark blue jersey of some sort but the very early ones had no numbers so I'll stick with the 1929

I hope this alternative look is just a reverse of color scheme; green helmet, gold jersey, and green pants. Please don't let it be something ugly like the broncgirls throwback uniforms from last season.

You should only wear that if you face Tampa and they play in throwbacks.

I don't get why a team like the Pack would try to "mix it up" with a classic uniform. The Packer home uniforms are good right now but I can only see see their alternates looking horrible but as an optimist I hope they get cool alternates like the Ravens black uni's (yes I'm biased in this sense because I have my black Ed Reed jersey)!

Also Mr. Murder, I like the post, creamsickle (I probably spelt that wrong but I spelt it phonetically so it's all good) versus navy blue (don't the Bears already wear navy blue?) this should be a classic!

They never should have changed the first uniform. It's been ALL downhill since then. Not a single worthwhile moment.

I was mad but if its alternates than thats cool

1929 uniforms it will be. I think it's great. It was the Packers' first championship season. I'm really happy that they're going into the history of the NFL's greatest franchise rather than the clown costumes you see nowadays.

Whatever uniform they wear they will probably suck.
