Biggs: Rams safety dating Singletary's daughter

If he played a different position, maybe you would say O.J. Atogwe has made a quarterback sneak.

As it is, Mike Singletary seems just fine with the fact that the St. Louis Rams safety is dating his daughter Jill.

They met in Chicago where SIngletary carved out a place for himself in Canton, Ohio, as a Hall of Fame player. Atogwe was in town for the NFL’s business management program at Northwestern’s Kellogg Business School. Jill was attending the Illinois Institute of Art.

That would be an interesting dinner table tonight—Mike Singletary with his daughter and Atogwe a little more than 12 hours before Singletary’s 49ers play host to the Rams. Atogwe has visited the family home numerous times.

“He's a quality individual,” Singletary said. “He's a very nice guy. He's a gentleman. We've had conversations, not about football, but about life.”

Now, Jill Singletary is at the Academy of Arts in San Francisco where she plays volleyball. So, who does she root for on this occasion?
