While Drew Brees has Tweeted about being reunited with his former teammate now that LaDainian Tomlinson is on the street following his release from the San Diego Chargers, the New Orleans Saints have made another move in their backfield.
The team has signed fullback Zak Keasey to a one-year contract. Keasey played for the San Francisco 49ers in 2007 and 2008 and was out of the league last season.
It could be that the organization is looking for some depth. There are two fullback on the roster – Heath Evans and Kyle Eckel – and Eckel is set to be a restricted free agent.
