The New Orleans Saints will be down four players on Gregg Williams’ defense when they play at Washington today.

Will it matter against the Redskins’ offense that has struggled so miserably since, well, Jim Zorn was hired? Things have been better in the last month under Sherm Lewis, but too often the Redskins are bringing a water pistol to a gun fight, and that’s sure how this looks as they prepare to face Drew Brees and the top-ranked Saints offense. Even if t-r-a-p is written all over it because New Orleans is coming off an energized victory over the New England Patriots Monday night, it’s the Redskins.

Out of action for Williams will be linebacker Scott Fujita, who has a knee injury and cornerbacks Jabari Greer (groin) and Randall Gay (hamstring). Reserve linebacker Marvin Mitchell, who would be likely to replace Fujita, is also out with a pulled hamstring.

The question is, will it make a difference?

He was in top foprm, perhaps former Viking Napoleon Harris(cut there and in Raiders camp) can be brought in since he's familiar with the system.
