The New Orleans Saints swapped out defensive linemen today, placing veteran Kendrick Clancy on injured reserve and signing DeMario Pressley from the practice squad.
Clancy, a 10-year veteran, appeared in only two games this season and sat out five others with a knee ailment. He returned to play against Atlanta on Monday night and made four tackles but re-injured his knee.
Pressley was a fifth-round draft pick from North Carolina State in 2008. He spent last season on injured reserve. The Saints play Carolina on Sunday.

James Harrison did the exact same thing to an Arizona player in the Super Bowl and wasn't ejected from the game. Just saying.

Has big hopes for Pressley coming into his draft class, he was a quicker three tech type of lineman. He fell way down the boards(was initially playing into potential third round range) and was almost at journeyman status early in his career. Wonder how he's been approaching the chance to play, has he beefed up for the run help or is he still sudden and quick?
