The Seattle Seahawks have signed punter Tom Malone, according to the Twitter account of agent J.R. Rickert.
Malone kicked last fall in the United Football League for the New York Senitnels. He spent time in training camp last year with the New England Patriots and previously had stints on the practice squad in New England.
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll knows Malone well. He had him on his team at Southern Cal. Malone has also spent time with the San Francisco 49ers.
