Seahawks safety gets nabbed for facemask violation Brad Biggs
Seattle Seahawks safety Jordan Babineaux was fined $5,000 for a major facemask violation in last Sunday’s game at the Metrodome.
Babineuax was nabbed for grabbing the facemask of Minnesota wide receiver Percy Harvin. It’s the second straight week that Babineuax has had to open his wallet. He was fined $7,500 for a horse collar tackle of Arizona’s Anquan Boldin the previous week.
Time for Babineaux to clean up his tackling so he can keep his money.
The Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported that Vikings defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy was also fined $5,000 for a facemask infraction coming out of the Seahawks game. Facemask penalties have been close to automatic $5,000 fines this season.

The new deal locks Celek up through 2016, and the team has now signed 22 players on the current roster to multiple contracts, proof that the Eagles are one of the most pro-active teams in the league when it comes to investing it its own players.
