Defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth checked out OK, which is about the only good news the Washington Redskins have had in the last 24 hours.

Coach Jim Zorn said Haynesworth actually has a strained glut, the injury that forced him to ride off the Ford Field turf on Sunday in the second quarter in pain. Haynesworth returned to the game in the second half.
“It’s high up on his hip,’’ Zorn said. “I think he’s going to be fine.”
Reports earlier were that Haynesworth had a hip flexor. He had an MRI in Tennessee as a precaution, but that is reportedly because he was there for personal business.
