The Philadelphia Eagles will reportedly pick up a $1.5 million roster bonus that is due to quarterback Michael Vick. That doesn’t necessarily mean he will have wings on the sides of his helmet this season.
There remains a good chance the Eagles will shop at least one of their quarterbacks and if Vick is the one, and he has a choice, he’s got one team in mind. No, it’s not the St. Louis Rams, who have been prominently mentioned as a possible destination and certainly have a need for a quarterback.
How about another NFC team with its own uncertain quarterback situation – the Carolina Panthers.
“If I could play for any team in the league, it would probably be two teams, but if I had to pick one, it would probably be the Carolina Panthers,” Vick said in an appearance on Hot 107.9 in Atlanta, according to the Charlotte Observer.
Why the Panthers?
“Well, you know, it’s close to home,” Vick said. “I like the uniforms. You get to play against Atlanta twice a year. Ain’t nothing better than playing against your former team, right? So, yeah, that would be a good look, it would be a good look.”
He likes the uniforms? Wow.
The report counts the Panthers as one of the teams that is unlikely to have interest in Vick. Jake Delhomme and Matt Moore are poised to compete for the job this summer and general manager Marty Hurney may add a young quarterback through the draft.
Could be that Vick needs to find another uniform he likes.

He list a lot of reasons. YOU harped on uniform. Shows me all I need to see of your "reporting". Vick is is $1.5 mil richer, you're still a phaggot.
Yes, Mike, when asked what one team you would like to play for, that would mean not two, but one team.
Look, the guy's in Atlanta so he's going to say he wants against the Falcons twice a year. He's still got a lot of fans there.
I wonder what teams he wouldn't play for based on the uniforms.
BTW, eattadicc, if you read the rundown of reasons, number one was close to home, number two was the unis, so it's obviously high up on his triggers. Funny there's nothing about a team that is close to the playoffs, or has an offense he loves, or a rabid fan base, or anything really football related.
Last thing eattadicc, show a little respect for a hard working reporter who gets it right 99 percents of the time. I get to read Biggs in Chicago and he is topnotch.
And with that handle, and that homophobic rant, I've got to think you're still in junior high school. Or maybe you just never graduated.
Gee, homophobia sure is funny.

TT will probably pull the tenders of OL if we can draft a stud or two to groom for the Tackle position. I highly doubt that we will go after other RFA based on TT love of drafted players.

Michael Vick displays his giant intellect and Socratic method of thinking again.
