Family members accompany mourning coach to Baltimore Brad Biggs
Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer boarded the team’s charter flight to Baltimore this afternoon and is expected to coach Sunday three days after his wife Vikki unexpectedly died.
Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer reported that Zimmer was accompanied by his father, one daughter and son Adam, who is a quality control defensive assistant for the New Orleans Saints. The Saints are on their bye this week.
A cause of death has not yet been determined for Vikki Zimmer, who was 50. The thoughts of those at the National Football Post go out to the Zimmer family.
