For anyone looking for a reason by Ryan Fitzpatrick's effectiveness took a sudden downturn shortly after he signed a lucrative contract to remain with the Buffalo Bills, David Nelson may have revealed it.

Nelson, who is one of Fitzpatrick's receivers, tells the Buffalo News that Fitzpatrick played toward the end of the season with cracked ribs, apparently suffered against the Washington Redskins.
