Preliminary diagnosis says injury likely a bruise. Terry McCormick
Buffalo Bills receiver David Nelson left the practice field and headed to the locker room after knocking knees with a teammate in Saturday's practice.
Nelson's right knee was tended to by trainers for about 10 minutes before he went to the locker room under his own power.
Bills coach Chan Gailey said through the team's website that the injury was not believed to be serious, though a more thorough determination would be made on Sunday.
“They said it’s like a bruise,” said Gailey. “They don’t think it’s any kind of ligaments or anything like that. We’ll see the determination is tomorrow probably.”
