Bills grant Browns permission to interview Jim O'Neil

Linebackers coach up for Browns' defensive coordinator job Aaron Wilson

The Buffalo Bills have granted the Cleveland Browns permission to interview Bills linebackers coach Jim O'Neil for their defensive coordinator vacancy.

New Browns coach Mike Pettine has been seeking to interview O'Neil for the past few days.

O'Neil worked with Pettine in Buffalo and previously with the New York Jets.

The Bills have filled their defensive coordinator opening with Jim Schwartz.
