The Buffalo Bills are making sure their defensive line stays intact for at least another year.
According to a report from Yahoo! Sports, the Bills picked up the fifth-year option on defensive tackle Marcell Dareus' contract, ensuring he'll be with the organization another season.
It also gives the Bills more time to work out a long-term agreement as they won't be hard-pressed to get a deal done this offseason. With Dareus, Mario Williams and Kyle Williams, the Bills have the potential to field one of the best defensive lines in the NFL this season.
Dareus, who played college football at Alabama, was the third overall selection in the 2011 draft. He reached his first Pro Bowl in 2013.
