The Buffalo Bills have placed safety Aaron Williams on injured reserve.
They promoted wide receiver Cordell Roberson to the 53-man roster.
Roberson joined the Bills practice squad on Oct. 29.
He entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with Cleveland, was released prior to the regular season and spent a portion of the year on the Carolina Panthers' practice squad a before joining the Bills.
The 6-foot-4, 205 pounder finished his career at Stephen F. Austin University as the school's all-time leader in receptions (221), receiving yards (3,191) and touchdown catches (39).
