Buffalo's two leading tacklers from 2012 shown the door. Terry McCormick
The Buffalo Bills announced on Monday the releases of linebacker Nick Barnett and strong safety George Wilson.
Barnett, who came over as a free agent from Green Bay in 2011, was Buffalo's leading tackler the past two seasons.
Wilson was a former wide recever who became a safety and special teams player, eventually landing the starting strong safety role in 2008 and being named a defensive captain. He was the Bills second-leading tackler in 2012 behind Barnett.
