When the Buffalo Bills re-signed Tarvaris Jackson earlier in the off-season, they said the journeyman would have a chance to compete for the starting quarterback spot.
That competition has been cut short, however, as the Bills, per NFL.com, let go of Jackson, whom they acquired from the Seattle Seahawks last year.
That means that the Bills quarterback battle will be between rookie first-round pick E.J. Manuel and veteran Kevin Kolb, who was picked up in the off-season from the Arizona Cardinals. And it leaves Jackson looking for yet another opportunity after having spent time with the Vikings, Seahawks and Bills.
