The Buffalo Bills have traded for Detroit Lions quarterback Thaddeus Lewis, acquiring him in exchange for linebacker Chris White.

Lewis completed 22 of 32 passes for 204 yards, one touchdown and one interception last season for the Cleveland Browns.

The Bills signed veteran quarterback Matt Leinart amid concerns about the concussion for veteran quarterback Kevin Kolb and rookie EJ Manuel recently having knee surgery.

Kolb has a history of concussions, and the Buffalo News reported that this latest one could threaten his career.
