The Jacksonville Jaguars offense hasn't been much to write home about in the team's first preseason game thus far.
But at least one former first-round draft pick provided some entertainment - albeit not the kind that Jags head coach Gus Bradley would want.
Justin Blackmon, per Mark Long of the Associated Press, got into a verbal altercation on the sideline with Miami Dolphins cornerback Nolan Carroll that apparently got heated enough that the Jaguars had to take Blackmon off the field, and Bradley had to step in. Blackmon was not playing due to a a groin injury.
Running back Maurice Jones-Drew, who is also not playing tonight, escorted Blackmon back to the Jacksonville locker room for a time. But Blackmon later returned and gave Bradley a hug on the sideline, per Long's account on Twitter.
Blackmon is already suspended for the first four games of the season for violating the league's substance abuse policy, and getting out of control on the sideline is not going to help his cause with a new coach/GM regime in Jacksonville.
