If you’re a LeGarrette Blount fan, you had better hope he has a good excuse.

The senior running back was a no-show at Oregon’s pro day on Thursday, per Gil Brandt of NFL.com, casting another dark cloud over the head of a player with very little room for error.

Blount landed himself a ten-game suspension back in September when he punched Boise State’s Byron Hout after a 19-8 road loss to open the season. Oregon head coach Chip Kelly eventually reinstated Blount, who ran for 51 yards and a touchdown on nine carries in Oregon’s Rose Bowl-clinching 37-33 win over Oregon State.

The unfortunate thing about this situation is that it undoes some of the positive steps Blount had been taking over the last few months in an effort to repair his image.

The 6’2”, 240-pound bruiser--currently ranked 10th among running backs on the NFP's Big Board-- was impressive during practices at the Senior Bowl, capping off the week by carrying the ball seven times for 36 yards and one touchdown in the North team’s 31-13 win in Mobile, Alabama.

With this latest development, you can bet Blount and his handlers will have their hands full looking to repair the running back’s image—especially when youtube clips like this are still fresh in everyone’s mind.

Bad news to hear, dissappointing for Blount.
Good news for teams who will avoid him, perhaps?
Maybe Al Davis falls in love with another outlaw and drafts him anyways.

Adam Schefter is saying Blount scheduled to workout 3/18 at Oregon's 2nd pro day.

Didn't this guy star in that Adam Sandler remake, The Longest Yard? Oh, maybe it was One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest? Whoever does draft this nutjob better keep him on a short leesh. There's no reason to have such horrible sportsmanship as he's demonstrated.

Your an Idiot

There are two Oregon pro days and Blount was scheduled for the second one.

Next time try and make an effort to get your facts straight before you publish something.

that's "you're an idiot." not "Your an idiot"

I'm assuming you're calling him an idiot, and not making fun of his idiot...but I'm sure you know all this...after all; you're no idiot.

Another example of lazy reporting. If you took two seconds to check your facts you would know that Oregon has two pro days, everyone knew both Blount and Ward werent participating in the first one and that they are going to be at the second one. Next time how about you do your job instead of slapping together this shitty reporting just so you can sensationalize your headline.

This would be a dumb move. They should target Westbrook. More of a competitor, great 3rd down back who can catch, etc. I do NOT like LT wearing green. He's no better than TJ. In fact, he might be worse at this point. Get Westbrook!
