With Jake Delhomme set to begin his visit with the Cleveland Browns on Thursday, trade winds are swirling around incumbent quarterback Brady Quinn.
According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, reports that Quinn is available via a trade aren't unwelcome to the former Notre Dame star.
Citing a source, the newspaper reports that Quinn would embrace a change of scenery if he's not going to be the starter.
He may get his wish.
The Browns have already cut Derek Anderson and traded for Seneca Wallace.
If Delhomme is signed, there wouldn't be a need for Quinn on the roster in all likelihood.
It's unclear which teams would have interest in Quinn, who hasn't been successful since entering the league.

I can't blame him for being open to leaving. He was drafted to be the starter and never really got his chance. I don't think he's stellar, but most QBs aren't, and I'd rather have him than the also-rans like Delhomme, Vick or Wallace as a starter. The only advantage to hiring one of these near to retirement QBs is if they're going to fill in until our next starting QB draftpick is ready, at least there shouldn't be any controversy when it's time for him to step up.
