Veteran receiver now on his fourth go-around with New England. Terry McCormick
The New England Patriots announced Wednesday that they have signed wide receiver Deion Branch.
Branch, originally a Patriots draft pick in 2002, will be marking his fourth tenure with the club overall and the third time this season he has been with New England.
After returning to the Patriots in a 2010 trade with Seattle, Branch was released by the Pats in final roster cuts this summer. He re-signed with New England in September and was released again in November, only to be brought back after another Patriots retread, Donte Stallworth, was injured in Sunday's game.
