Kansas City Chiefs tackle Branden Albert will sign his franchise tender, according to Mike Garafalo of USA Today.
Per Peter King of Sports Illustrated, the Chiefs will listen to trade offers for Albert, whose tender offer is $9.828 million.
Albert was franchised by the Chiefs right before free agency, but there has been plenty of speculation that Kansas City might take tackle Luke Joeckel of Texas A&M with the first pick and either putting Albert at right tackle or moving him in a deal.
