The Seahawks are expecting to be without cornerback Brandon Browner for an extended period of time.

Appearing on radio station ESPN 710, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said that Browner's groin injury sustained against Atlanta could keep him out "quite a while."

With Browner unavailable, cornerback Walter Thurmond will fill in as Seattle's starting cornerback opposite of Richard Sherman.
