Cincinnati Bengals Pro Bowl linebacker Vontaze Burfict's three-year contract extension is worth $19.004 million and includes a $3.1 million signing bonus, according to a league source.
He got a $3.8 million roster bonus on Aug. 30.
The deal averages $6.33 million per year.
Burfict, who led the NFL with 171 tackles last season, gets a $700,000 base salary this year, $7.604 million total in 2014 and has a salary-cap figure of $5.279 million.
In 2015, he's due a $1.05 million base salary and a $3.15 million roster bonus on the fifth day of the league year as well as a $200,000 workout bonus and a $175,000 Pro Bowl escalator clause. His total earnings for 2015 are $4.4 million. His salary-cap figure is $5.175 million.
In 2016, he's due a $2.85 million base salary, a $200,000 workout bonus and a $350,000 Pro Bowl escalator clause. He's due $3.05 million total that year and has a $3.825 million salary-cap figure.
In 2017, Burfict has a $3.75 millin base salary, a $200,000 workout bonus and a $525,000 Pro Bowl escalator clause for a total of $3.95 million in potential earnings that year. His salary-cap figure for 2017 is $4.725 million.
