Former Kansas City Chiefs and Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Steve Breaston is joining the New Orleans Saints via a one-year contract, according to agent, Eric Metz.
Breaston was cut in February by the Chiefs.
Breaston has a recent history of knee issues, but was judged healthy enough to resume playing by the NFC South club.
Breaston beat out former Dallas Cowboys and Jacksonville Jaguars starter Laurent Robinson for the job.
Robinson has been making the rounds, including tryouts with the New York Jets, Detroit Lions, New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers, but has a recent history of concussion problems.
