Brett Favre praises Johnny Manziel

Retired Green Bay Packers legend quarterback Brett Favre is a fan of Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel.

Criticized by some who wonder if his free-wheeling game will translate well to the NFL, Manziel was selected later in the first round after being passed over earlier in the first round.

A three-time Most Valuable Player who won a Super Bowl with the Packers, Favre has no such doubts.

"I personally like Johnny Manziel as the quarterback in the draft,” Favre said in a video for Sqor. “I think Blake Bortles is different but is a good prospect as well. It depends on your need, the type of scheme you’re playing. But I think Manziel is probably the best playmaker in all the draft.”
